PSA Cyberbullying Project
All 4th grade students created PSA (public service announcement) videos about the dangers of cyberbullying.
Third and fourth grade students explored the physics of bottle flipping during computer class this week.

Apple Store Field Trip
Mr. Kress's 4th grade class took a field trip to the Apple Store! The students built paper airplanes, video recorded their flight patterns using the CMV app on the iPads, and then put together a slideshow to showcase their experience. What a great experience!
Today, Mrs. Schenkelberg's first grade class connected through Skype, to the author Jean Reidy. The students were so engaged and can't wait to start writing their own books.
Computer Science - Coding
Learning to Code! Plattsmouth Elementary students participate in courses designed to introduce computer science and show that anybody can learn to the basics.

Gamestar Mechanics, for learners 8 & up
All students, grades 2-4, are learning to use Google Docs for educational purposes. In computer class, we have discussed Internet safety and ettiquette.
Google Docs is a cloud based application that allows users to share, edit, and collaborate on the same document from different locations.
*REMEMBER to always supervise students while on the Internet.

Digital Resource Subscriptions
Plattsmouth Elementary School has purchased three electronic subscriptions for all PES students and staff to use at school and at home. You will need to contact the school for usernames and passwords. Thank you.
